About

IED Istituto Europeo di Design is the largest network of European Art and Design schools. Founded in Milan in 1966, it operates across 11 campuses in 3 countries — Italy, Spain and Brazil.

IED blends Italy’s rich cultural heritage with a global outlook and a strong connection to each local context. Its learning experience combines critical thinking and experimentation with a practice-based transdisciplinary approach to design and research, addressing real-world challenges and needs. In CO-VISION it leads the Blueprint (critical-analytical framework of the COVISION methodology).
