Professional Panel at the Signal Festival in Prague. Two speakers presented the paradigms of their creative practice. Denisa Půbalová (studying and working in the Netherlands, part of international research on diatoms) presented 'What do the landscapes within you say?', covering three dimensions of her diatom research — photosynthesis, dynamic strategies of water-stream structures, and the memory-proxy role of dead diatoms — plus her contribution to the artwork/research publication Planeta Kampus. Tomáš Šenkyřík presented his creation of a unique soundscape library mapping the valuable natural territories of South Moravia, focusing on the Soutok floodplain forest (one of the purest areas, with excellent acoustics/reverberation due to water dynamics), interwoven with field recordings of unique bird and frog species. 115 participants; duration 35 minutes.
