Mers-les-Bains

The debate centered on the impact of climate change on coastal erosion in Mers-les-Bains and the Bay of Somme region. The event included artistic presentations, a scientific briefing from the regional climate expert group (GREC), a presentation by the Mayor of Mers-les-Bains, and a participatory workshop to map local climate issues. It demonstrated strong interdisciplinary collaboration and reinforced the potential of digital art in supporting scientific communication and public awareness. Deeply rooted in the territory, the debate fostered engagement among citizens, scientists, researchers, artists and public officials, laying the groundwork for the video-mapping artwork 'Echoes of Change'.
